Probation Supervisor

Position Summary:

The position is a supervisor position involved in organizing and directing the daily functions of the Probation Officers, and Community Service Monitors.  

Supervision Received: Under the general supervision of the Court Services Division Administrator. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate; and 
  • Associate Degree in Criminal Justice Administration or Law Enforcement field with two (2) years demonstrated work experience and training in supervisory or management field; (attach certificate); OR
    An equivalent combination of at least (8) years demonstrated work experience and training in probation, correctional, or rehabilitative field, which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.  

-AND- 

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Drivers License with no major traffic citations within the last three years. 
  • Must submit a 39-month driving records with the employment application. 
  • Must pass a criminal background investigation and fingerprint check prior to employment. 
  • Based on the department needs, incumbents may be required to demonstrate fluency in both the Tohono O’odham Language and English as condition of employment.
